Dr. Chris MARSHALL Managing Director Sungard Asia Pacific

Dr Chris Marshall is Managing Director for SunGard Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. Chris is responsible for SunGard's Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, and Performance Management Services for Asia Pacific banks providing expert assistance to risk management projects region-wide.

Prior to joining SunGard, Chris held the role of senior director at Oracle Corporation running the risk and analytics applications in Asia. Chris' career includes time as executive director at UBS heading up the banks corporate risk advisory team in Asia and a senior analyst position with Ernst & Young. He has extensive experience in a number of areas of banking analytics including regulatory compliance, risk modeling, capital management and risk adjusted performance assessment.

Chris was one of the co-founders of the Singapore NUS Center for Financial Engineering and is widely regarded as a leading industry speaker in the areas of Credit, Operational, and Market Risk. Chris is a member of the Global Who's Who for Risk Management.

Holding a Doctorate in Finance and Information Systems from Harvard Business College in Boston, Chris' education includes an MBA in Finance and an MA & BA in Mathematics and Theoretic Physics.
