Mr. Charles NG Associate Director-General, Investment Promotion Invest HK

Charles Ng is Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion. Charles' Division is responsible for the department's corporate services and for attracting and retaining foreign direct investment in the following four priority sectors.

• Business & Professional Services
• Financial Services
• Transportation, and
• Special Projects

Charles is also responsible for InvestHK's operations in: The United Kingdom, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Nordic countries, Turkey, Korea, Australia and New Zealand.

Charles has worked for companies in the manufacturing and trading sectors, as well as for multinationals in the financial services and banking sectors in Mauritius, Canada and Hong Kong. He also has experience in setting up and building a small business as an entrepreneur and in running a major international Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.

Charles is a part-time lecturer at the University of Hong Kong, School of Professional and Continuing Education. Charles speaks English, French, Cantonese, Putonghua, Hakka and Creole.

Charles has a MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg Graduate School of Management (US) and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, School of Business (joint degree).
